Sponsor a Food Drive
Bring your workplace, school, church, civic group, neighborhood, or circle of friends together to help stock the Emergency Community Food Pantry of Franklin County.
Turn a simple food drive into a community effort.
Hosting a food drive is one of the most impactful ways to support the Emergency Community Food Pantry of Franklin County. Whether through your workplace, school, church, or civic group, every can collected and every box donated brings hope to a neighbor in need.
Every Can Counts.
One person can donate a can. A group can fill a box. A community can fill the shelves. When we give together, those individual acts of generosity become meaningful support for neighbors facing hunger in Franklin County.
How to Get Started
Starting a food drive is simple and meaningful.
Choose Your Location
Your office, church, school, neighborhood, or another community location can become a collection point.
Pick Your Dates
Choose one day, one week, or a month-long collection based on what works best for your group.
Spread the Word
Invite others to participate. We can provide flyers, posters, and social media templates to help promote your drive.
Deliver Your Donations
Bring your collected items to the Food Pantry during open hours. After your drive, contact us about delivery or pickup arrangements.
Most Needed Items
Focus your food drive on items that help families prepare complete and nutritious meals.
Canned Meats
Peanut Butter
Canned Fruit and Veggies
Soup, Stews and Chili
Pasta and Rice
Instant Oatmeal
Canned Beans
Spaghetti and Spaghetti Sauce
Help Build Complete Meals
Every donation makes a difference, especially items that help families prepare complete and nutritious meals. Think beyond a single can and collect a variety of pantry staples your neighbors can actually use together.
Give More Than Food
A food drive gives neighbors more than groceries. It sends a message that our community sees them, cares about them, and is willing to help.
Food Drives Are Better Together.
Businesses, schools, churches, clubs, and neighborhood associations are encouraged to host food drives together.
Friendly competition between departments or classrooms can help multiply donations and make it fun for everyone involved.
Make It a Community Challenge
Set a collection goal. Invite your team. Challenge another department, classroom, or group. Then celebrate what you accomplish together.
